Woman in Flame

One of the most successful costumes I've made... Woman in Flame is an archetypal configuration which has been with me for a very long time.  I had the opportunity to manifest her in Fuyuko Matsubara's shibori class.

Sea Legs

                                                                             

Here are some projects from IUP... This one is "Sea Legs"... actually not really wearable...my first sculpture in Ann Wolf's class... made from weaving wool and throwing it in the washer and creating this mermaid bottom... then added freeform chains and beading... It's been in several shows... represents a period of time when I was on an island in the Carribbean, Virgin Gorda...
